Classwork 3

I wrote a paragraph last week, we corrected it today.I noticed that i used the word “and” alot. I will fix it by replacing all the ands with commas. I also used contractions pretty freakwently. I will make those not contractions. I did good on the rest in peace words, i only had a few of thoughs. I didn’t have a conclusion. I will put a conclusion in it.

class work 15

I think John got 4’s and 5’s because he did well with puncuation and spelling. There is two things he can improve on, they are the Presantation and word choice.  He still had the sentance titles and not into paragraphs. The word choice is good but he could of used less he and she, he could have wrote some of the name of people. In conclusion they are good paragraphs but not perfect.

john said I got all 6’s other than a few 5’s due to spelling and grammar.I had some sentences that didn’t make sense. He said I needs to double space my paragraphs. All in all, he said i have good ideas and the right ideas, but some of my ideas may repeat each other and need work.

Revised paragraph

TS: Montressor is an insane person that is a mentally ill criminal who laughes walls around him.

CD: Fortunato said for the love of god man and Montressor said Yes, for the love of god. Let me be gone.

CM: Montressor probly was embaressed by Fortunato at some point.

2nd Chunk Paragraph First Draft

TS: The story, the Gift of the Magi is an ironic story because they both show that their spouse is more important than a possession but by doing this they can’t use the presents they got for each other.

CD: For example Della cut her hair to get a present for Jim but Jim got a comb for Della.

CM: This showsthey both should of got gifts they can afford.

CM: This shows even if they don’t get a huge present for each other, they should both love the gifts because they are married and they should love the gifts.

CS: This shows that this story is ironic because they can’t use the gifts they get each other, but it shows they love each other.

1st Chunk Paragraph

TS: The narrator should not of cut the line because he regrets it to this day.

CD: He eventually got over the girl but he doesn’t get over the bass.

CM: If he wouldn’t of cut the line, the narrator would most likely lose the girl, but he would  of had the bass to keep.

CM:  The narrator should be interested in the girls that have the same likes as him so he won’ have to make this hard decision ever again.

CS: The narrator shouldn’t have cut the line because he regrets it.

Gift of the Magi chunk paragraph

TS:  It is ironic that Jim had sold his watch to buy the comb for Della because, Della cut her hair to buy a watch fob for Jim.

CD:  Della cut her hair so she can’t use her comb Jim got her.

CM:  Even though they aren’t able to use ther gifts they both love the gifts.
